Ancient human civilizations not millions of years old


Actually, there is no conclusive proof that humans have been around for
"a few million years." The more they seem to study those meager amounts
of fossil evidence of those alleged 'cavemen' etc, the more many of them
do not actually appear to be human at all, but rather some type of early
ape etc.

Even decades ago such 'cavemen' were questionable. One such example
were some fossil remains that came to be called Ramapithecus. And at
first it was thought to be the foundation of the evolution of man. As
the New York Times then reported, Ramapithecus "sat as securely as
anything can at the base of the human evolutionary tree."*

Then later, more recent fossil finds showed that it more closely
resembled a member of the ape family, than the human family. As the
"New Scientist" said,

"Ramapithecus cannot have been the first member of the human line".

Thus most of the early so-called 'cavemen' fossils leave a lot for
speculation. But if you find writings, and buildings of some kind, and
art and paintings etc, then there is no question as to the human aspect
of those things. And when do all of these types of human evidences show
up in recorded history? Not millions of years BUT SEVERAL THOUSANDS of
years ago. And that is just what the Bible shows the age of humans to
be; a little over 6000 years old. As one Nobel prize winning nuclear
physicist W.F. Libby once stated in the publication "Science":

“The research in the development of the dating technique consisted of
two stages—dating of samples from the historical and the prehistorical
epochs, respectively. Arnold [a co-worker] and I had our first shock
when our advisers informed us that history extended back only for 5000
years. . . . You read statements to the effect that such and such a
society or archeological site is 20,000 years old. We learned rather
abruptly that these numbers, these ancient ages, are not known accurately.”

Yes, the Bible had it right all along with its dating! Humans have been
around for a little over 6000 years, and so has their civilizations.

will change that anymore. There's not one single religion that humans
did not come up with. It was an attempt to explain our existence, but we
know today we evolved. That's the real truth.
The real truth is in the Bible. The Bible mentions a powerful ruler
(Satan) who is misleading most of the earth. He is now the god of this
world (2 Cor 4:4) and is an expert liar. If you don't like being a dupe
and falling for his lies, you need to do some research.

Just look around the world today. Would you call this a loving planet?
The Bible gives us advise that Satan doesn't want to hear, such as to
love your neighbor as yourself. He hates it when a person does good to
another. His is the way of hate and pain.

So just do some research on the Bible and see if it is the truth or not.

As the Christian I once was, I took to realizing there's too many
religions for the Christian bible to be correct. I treat others nice not
because a religion tells me to, but because we are all human. Sorry to
say but there's no earthly way to fit 8.7 million animals in one ark.
There's 4200 popular religions in the world, Christianity is only one of
them. Go to say Italy or France, there's other beliefs, and they are all
about one thing. Not dying. Religion is based around on this mistaken
belief that if you believe you won't have to die. I don't have to travel
the world to know this. Even close to the beginning of time, humans have
developed many different gods, none are correct. I don't have any
questions about the Christian bible, I've been through it many times. I
am not devoting my life to something which isn't true.

You wont convince an Atheist like me of anything.





The Christians are the ones who need to face reality as there's possibly
nothing after death. You die to nothing. But don't quote me on that,
even atheists wonder if there's possibly something after death. But if
there's a god, which is highly doubtful, that god is older than anything
we know or could even comprehend.

My beliefs? I agree with Morgan Freeman, there's nothing after death.
You are here one moment and gone the next. Life ends, and there's a big
fat nothing waiting for us.

Noah didn't have to take millions of animals. Only those representing
one family of animals. (kinds) One type of cats, one of dogs, one of
horses, etc. After they were let loose, they developed into the
different kinds of cats and dogs, etc. Notice:

nothing after death. You die to nothing.
That is what the Bible teaches. There is no mysterious 'immortal soul'
that leaves the body at death. When you die, your body breaks down into
its chemical elements. You as a personality, cease to exist. Here is
some Bible proof. Ec 9:5,

"For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they
have no further reward, and even the memory of them is forgotten." (NIV)

Notice "the dead know nothing". Kinda hard to exist if you have zero
knowledge.

Sorry but I was grown up Christian, and later became an atheist, no
one will change that anymore. There's not one single religion that
humans did not come up with. It was an attempt to explain our
existence, but we know today we evolved. That's the real truth.
The real truth is in the Bible. The Bible mentions a powerful ruler
(Satan) who is misleading most of the earth. He is now the god of
this world (2 Cor 4:4) and is an expert liar. If you don't like being
a dupe and falling for his lies, you need to do some research.
Just look around the world today. Would you call this a loving
planet? The Bible gives us advise that Satan doesn't want to hear,
such as to love your neighbor as yourself. He hates it when a person

Sorry but I was grown up Christian, and later became an atheist, no
one will change that anymore. There's not one single religion that
humans did not come up with. It was an attempt to explain our
existence, but we know today we evolved. That's the real truth.
The real truth is in the Bible. The Bible mentions a powerful ruler
(Satan) who is misleading most of the earth. He is now the god of this
world (2 Cor 4:4) and is an expert liar. If you don't like being a
dupe and falling for his lies, you need to do some research.
Just look around the world today. Would you call this a loving planet?
The Bible gives us advise that Satan doesn't want to hear, such as to
love your neighbor as yourself. He hates it when a person does good to
another. His is the way of hate and pain.
So just do some research on the Bible and see if it is the truth or

atheism and agnosticism. Agnostic atheists are atheistic because they do
not hold a belief in the existence of any deity and agnostic because
they claim that the existence of a deity is either unknowable in

humans need to better themselves outside a bible or a god. I would say

Babylon's Ruin Predicted

The Bible predicted that the Babylonian Empire would be overthrown and
foretold how its capital city, Babylon, would fall. Almost two centuries
in advance, the prophet Isaiah warned that the Euphrates River would be
dried up. It flowed through Babylon, and gates along the river were a
vital part of the city's defenses. The prophecy named Cyrus as the
conqueror and noted that Babylon's "two-leaved doors" would not be shut

exists, it's older than that piece of fiction you live your life by.
People around me are better off with my "fiction" religion. I know
longer get drunk, I take no illegal drugs, I am faithful to my
wife, I don't take things that don't belong to me, etc, etc. I am
NOT trying to praise myself, because without my religion, I would
be doing those things again and probably be typing this from a jail
cell.

I smoke POT. But I just feel humans need to better themselves
without a god.

god. And anyone can write that there's proof, but I doubt any God
inspired the Bible. Besides, how come there's so many religions?

The Bible's many prophecies answer your questions.
Babylon's Ruin Predicted
The Bible predicted that the Babylonian Empire would be overthrown and
foretold how its capital city, Babylon, would fall. Almost two centuries
in advance, the prophet Isaiah warned that the Euphrates River would be
dried up. It flowed through Babylon, and gates along the river were a
vital part of the city's defenses. The prophecy named Cyrus as the
conqueror and noted that Babylon's "two-leaved doors" would not be shut
to the invaders. (Isaiah 44:27-45:7) Accordingly, God saw to it that
Babylon's two-leaved doors along the Euphrates were left open during a
festival on the night that the forces of Cyrus the Great made their
assault. Without difficulty, therefore, they entered the city by way of
the riverbed and captured Babylon.
The historian Herodotus wrote: "Cyrus . . . stationed part of his force
at the point where the Euphrates flows into [Babylon] and another
contingent at the opposite end where it flows out, with orders to both
to force an entrance along the river-bed as soon as they saw that the
water was shallow enough. . . . By means of a cutting he diverted the
river into the lake (which was then a marsh) and in this way so greatly
reduced the depth of water in the actual bed of the river that it became
fordable, and the Persian army, which had been left at Babylon for the
purpose, entered the river, now only deep enough to reach about the
middle of a man's thigh, and, making their way along it, got into the
town. . . . There was a festival going on, and even while the city was
falling they continued to dance and enjoy themselves, until hard facts
brought them to their senses."-Herodotus-The Histories, translated by
Aubrey de Selincourt.
On that very night, God's prophet Daniel warned Babylon's ruler of
impending disaster. (Daniel, chapter 5) An inferior Babylon did exist
for some centuries thereafter. From there, for instance, the apostle
Peter wrote his first inspired letter in the first century C.E. (1 Peter
5:13) But Isaiah's prophecy had stated: "Babylon . . . must become as
when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. She will never be inhabited." God
had also said: "I will cut off from Babylon name and remnant and progeny
and posterity." (Isaiah 13:19-22; 14:22) As predicted, Babylon
eventually became a heap of ruins. Any possible restoration of that
ancient city might lure tourists but would still leave it bereft of its
"progeny and posterity."
Daniel-Jehovah's prophet present in Babylon when it fell-had a vision
involving the conquering Medes and Persians. He beheld a two-horned ram
and a male goat that had a great horn between its eyes. The goat
assaulted the ram and struck it down, breaking its two horns. Then the
goat's great horn was broken, and four horns came up in its place.
(Daniel 8:1-8) As the Bible predicted and history has confirmed, the
two-horned ram stood for Medo-Persia. The male goat represented Greece.
And what of its "great horn"? This proved to be Alexander the Great.
When that figurative great horn was broken, four symbolic horns (or,
kingdoms) replaced it. True to the prophecy, after Alexander died, four
of his generals established themselves in power-Ptolemy Lagus in Egypt
and Palestine; Seleucus Nicator in Mesopotamia and Syria; Cassander in
Macedonia and Greece; and Lysimachus in Thrace and Asia Minor.-Daniel
8:20-22." (1993 Watchtower, 5/15, p. 4.)
There's also tons of predictions which have never come true. Anyone can
make a prediction, and many have come true. That still doesn't make your
bible true.

We weren't created by a creator, we evolved.
You say that with much conviction. Yet NO ONE (non believers) knows
this thing called "life", and how it came to be. They can't isolate
it in a lab or dissect it. No one even knows what it is. Animals
have it, plants have it, microbes have it etc. Yet it is as elusive
as a greased pig.

Why is it so hard for you Christians to accept that the Bible was
written by man.
Think of this. Most of the information written down from
billionaires' books, was written or typed by their secretaries. Yet
people still want to gather knowledge from their books. Why? BECAUSE
THE BILLIONAIRE COMPLETELY INFLUENCED WHAT WAS TYPED OR WRITTEN.
The Bible is similar. God strongly influenced what was written down.
But God went one step better than the billionaires' secretary. God
let His 'secretaries' frame it in their own words, just as long as
the idea was carefully reproduced. (see 2 Tim 3:16)

Religion is like the opium of the masses. (that sounds familiar:>)
Think back to 911 and what their religion did for them. No, only the

Babylon. Then look it up in secular history.
